Very lovely place. Nice staff. Brunch 7days. I tasted the banana pancakes and they are really good. All other dishes seemed very tasty. I suggest to visit.

Prepare for lineups but at $10/dish it's worth it! No alcohol unfortunately.

Great food and amazing decor. The restaurant is covered in old memorabilia. Only down side is that it is cash only, but there is an ATM available on-site. It does quite busy so be prepared to be potentially wait to be seated. But it's worth the wait!

The food and the vibe is amazing here. Then again, like all the trendy places, expect a long line up, and a long wait for food. The staff was polite and would occasionally come to say sorry, but it's still very slow.

Food is definitely above average. A must visit during summer time but be prepared for huge line ups - the person attending us advised that the best time to secure a seat at the patio is to come before 9:30 AM. Our group enjoyed the French toast and omlette. However, we did not enjoy the granola yogurt that much. Service is slow during rush hours so ensure that you set aside 1 to 1.5 hours.

I had a late breakfast here during the week when there was no line up. In addition to seating on the main floor, there is room for about 14 upstairs. My breakfast of scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast was great. I really liked the touch of the delicious home made ketchup on the side. The service was super friendly, but somewhat slow.The reason I am giving this place only 4 stars is that due to the poor cooking ventilation. I left with my clothing smelling like fried food. Ug!

Always a pleasure coming here. Great food breakfast pocket and breakfast tacos are a must try. Staff is nice and friendly and prices are reasonable. Recommend coming early seating is limited that gives you that cozy setting.

What a lovey hidden spot! And what a perfect brunch, well balanced, flavourful. All three of us had the Grand Slam, and without any regret. With a taste of little bit of everything, we know they have great recipes. The eggs were fluffy and rightly done, the bacon was perfectly cooked with just enough crisp and a nice maple finish. The arugula and spinach salad gave a little freshness to it, along with perfectly seasoned potatoes and very tasty bread brioché. The blueberry pancake was unfortunately undercook for all three of us, but with one or two minute more, it would have been perfect. The portions were also just right. You’ll be full, but won’t regret your life choices.A perfect brunch at a very affordable price, in a lovely but corky décor. The “COVID” menu has a lot to offer and we can’t wait to come back!

Amazing food! Had a croque monsieur and it was the best. Nice staff. Loved the place. Next time visiting Toronto, I will go there again.

Such a great discovery! The place has character, and the food is really tasty. The blueberry pancakes were sadly a bit undercook but the taste was there. If you’re looking for a well executed traditional breakfast, it’s the place to go! Great patio!

Cute, cozy and extremely retro. This is a great place for brunch, if you’re in the area. The wait is very long and it gets super busy, but the staff is amazing and so friendly!

Hole in a wall kinda place is quite charming, but doesn’t make up for the dirty tables and lack of service. We ordered two brunch entrees and had waited an hour for our food to come, took another 20 mins to get the bill. Food was very mediocre, not worth the wait. There are many other brunch places in the area that offer better quality food and much better service. The only upside is that it’s very affordable. Definitely will not return.

Thought it would be good because plenty of people going. The cook kept rubbing his nose. He kept using his hands to move food instead of utensils. Will never go back.

We went to Aunties and Uncles around 12:00 on a Saturday for brunch. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated, and another 15-20 minutes to get our food. However, once the food came it was pretty tasty. I had the banana oatmeal pancakes with seasonal fruit and it was very rich and hearty. The home fries were nice and crispy on the outside but soft when you bit into them. They were pretty well seasoning. The French toast was okay it could have benefited from some more powdered sugar, but when you put syrup on them they become more rich. The Omelette option was by far the best value made from 2-3 eggs and coming with 3 sides from a choice of about 7 items. Overall the food was nice and filling. We just wish they could improve on the speed of seating and turning out food

One of my favorite restaurants in Toronto! Love the Aunties & Uncles sandwiches, the bread was the best! The atmosphere was great, and price was decent. FYI, cash only.

Delicious sandwiches. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. The only problem is that it is popular and you always have to wait if you go during peak hours.

Super friendly and chill staff, nice old school and cosy atmosphere. Everything on the menu is amazing and quite cheap. Might have to wait a bit on weekend mornings though because it's busy.

The food is always very good and inexpensive, but the service is absolutely terrible! The wait staff act like they'd rather be somewhere else than serving customers. They are non attentive and blase. This is a trend I find exceedingly common in Toronto with those in the service and hospitality industry- they really couldn't give a sh*t about their customers.

I have been here dozens of times over the past decade. The space is amazing, the servers are always charming and the food is always perfect. This is forever one of my favourite restaurants in Canada.

I wouldn’t give 1 star easily but this place.....Wanted to give them a try because they usually busy, we went inside and our server sat us down right beside their kitchen so we could see everything they were making, I start from here that the guy who was making the sandwiches was having a bite from each lettuce that he was putting for each sandwich and while he was making the sandwiches he was having his own breakfast and he was all happy and looks like it was something normal to him but to me it was super disgusting!! Also the guy who was making the eggs and other stuff, he was texting while he was making eggs which looks disgusting with the same hand no gloves!! We ordered the taco and chicken sandwich which in total of all only the taste of chicken in chicken sandwich was good.I think there could be 2 reason these guys are busy1- their food is super super cheap like everything is mostly under $102- they are local so I feel like local people haven’t tried other breakfast places

Great little spot. We were seated right away (but it was noon on a Thursday). I had the blueberry pancakes (on special for the day) and they were delicious. The latte was also really good, one of the best I’ve had in Toronto. Service was nice too. Overall would definitely recommend this little joint.

Full 5 stars if they weren't cash only. Kind of a huge pain when most people no longer carry physical currency. Other than that, the food was delightful and the service was wonderful! It was packed during the week, so I'd imagine it's even crazier on the weekend.

Cozy and Warm breakfast/brunch house. Decor is classic diners style. Food was fantastic and a lot of good dishes are under $10, and the staff is super friendly! We will definitely be coming back. Thanks!

We were told the waiting would be 20 min. but it was more around 40 so be prepared. There was one server and one guy in a tiny kitchen, making everything to order. Once we were seated, our server took our order in a friendly efficient manner. After a few minutes our food arrived.There is a line up for a reason, everything was delicious and fresh, we definitely will be back. Kudos to the staff for their service. This please is Iconic with a warm atmosphere.

This place is packed! There’s a reason to it: the food is great and really affordable. It’s cash only also. If visiting with a group someone wait on the line while the others get there. There’s no list or anything either. Really casual.

If you said top quality service, friendly staff and not to mention the amazing food then you must be talking about Aunties & Uncle's. Unfortunately I just discovered this place but luckily I discovered it!! Can't express how much of a pleasure it was to diner in here the atmosphere and the music make everything so much better, it's a quite little place where you can still have a conversation and get some work done. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat!! 👍🏼

Super overrated. Sure, the decor is kind of unique but the food is average for the price. Service wasn’t anything special and in addition, even when seated, service was slow. Also, being cash only in 2020 is just an inconvenience.

The place looks old and ruined but don't get fooled by it. You can either seat inside or outside. The service is friendly and professional. We ordered the Pancakes, and the Brie sandwich. Both were really good. We went there on a monday, and after we were seated it started to get crowded. Some people had to wait to be seated, but the wait didn't seem to be long. If you are around, i highly suggest to check it out. Keep in mind they only accept payment in cash.

Just steps from college and bathurst you'll find this awesome brunch diner. The spot is very popular, so there are seating wait times from time to time. I was lucky enough to be in the neighborhood on a Monday, so I did not have to wait for a seat, but there were still plenty of customers. Has a front patio with plenty of seating, great for warm days.Awesome food selection. Tempted by the pancakes, but had scrambled eggs with peameal bacon, toast and cottage cheese for just under $10. Excellent service, quick, polite, and attentive. Great diner atmosphere and decor. Would highly recommend.

I came here once before in the summertime and it was a wonderful experience staff was friendly it was a beautiful day and I was sitting outside on the patio enjoying breakfast with a friend. Fast forward a couple of years and I just went to your recently on a snowy Saturday... I never been inside before and to be honest I could have lived without it. It's small it's cramped it's not cute. Seems a bit difficult actually.I feel sorry for both the cook and the wait staff. The food is decent but I'm not going to say it was any more better than the average brunch spot.All I have to say is this place does a lot better in the summertime. It definitely can get very busy but during winter I wouldn't say it's worth the wait.

An absolute classic, it's my favourite spot for breakfast in the city. With friendly staff and a great atmosphere are worth the sometime long line to get in at peak hours. The food is delicious and everything on the menu is incredibly well executed.

We love this place. The food is incredible and the decor is great - the perfect Brunch spot at any time of year. We sadly moved away from the area and can’t find anywhere that’s quite the same.

Simply put, this is my happy place. A classic menu subtlety infused with attention to detail and special culinary touches, all in a relaxed atmosphere with a throw-back vibe. Everything on the menu is amazing - the pear and brie, breakfast tacos, and pancakes are all amazing, plus both burgers and club sandwiches are done right :) I’ve travelled the world and never found a spot as endearing and wonderful as the restaurant Russ has created. A hidden gem, a Toronto landmark, and a place everyone should be a fan of.

This was the perfect brunch! The bacon was amazing, as we every dish we ordered. The staff was very attentive and nice. Very affordable and cozy.

Food is delicious! There was a long line to get in, starting from even before it opened, it's too popular for its own good. Once we ordered are food was served incredibly quickly. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant that was this efficient.

Items on the menu are reasonably priced; I think most are under $10! The space itself is small, so be prepared to wait if you arrive after 10am on weekends. The food and service are great and I would definitely go back and try more of their menu.
